Stephen's sweet Papa went home to be with the Lord today. We are so saddened by our loss of him, but we rejoice with him as he is with our Savior at this very moment! What a thrill and moment that must have been. It's so hard to imagine, but praise God it's assured. He so longed to be with Him, and now he is. Jesus, thank you for the time we had with him and for promising to receive each of us who love You in the same way we know You received Papa today.
Please pray for Stephen's grandmother who I know started missing her sweet groom the moment he left her. Their example of godly marriage to us is indescribeable. Pray for Stephen's mom, aunt, cousins, and extended family as we gather to support one another and remember our Papa. We miss him already.
